This event focuses on exercising and demonstrating children’s abilities. : CALex and LexKids held a kids’ charity sale to help children learn how to use old things to create new value and develop business ideas. : A CALex member shared his son’s experiences in learning chess and participating in competitions with a group of interested Lexington parents. : A CALex member gave a speech at an event honoring Vincent Chin in Boston’s Chinatown. (ABCL) hosted the second annual Quock Walker Day Hike for Freedom. : the Association of Black Citizens of Lexington ❀ Second Quock Walker Day Hike for Freedom Thank you to the organizers, LexYouth players, children, and parents! :, parent volunteer Dihua and LexYouth jointly held a chess simul, which was very successful. After the cleaning, the organizers distributed seeds, vegetables, and fruits that they had planted. LexYouth volunteers actively participated. : This afternoon, the Chinese Garden Club organized a weeding and cleaning activity in the small garden of the Lexington Community Center. The vote was to extend it indefinitely when it expired in 1902, and George Frisbie Hoar was the only senator to vote against it. The Chinese Exclusion Act was passed in 1882 for a period of 20 years. : CALex joined others in Concord to honor US Senator George Frisbie Hoar. LexYouth and Student Corp Lexington Minuteman Chapter co-organized the Ice Cream Social tonight, giving awards to those who performed well in the summer sports play group, meeting old and new friends as well as free ice cream and surprise gifts. : Embrace the new school year and meet new friends. : LexYouth’s chess teacher Alex Meng hosted a chess Tournament at Boylston Chess Club on Wednesday night. ❀LexYouth Teacher Held a Chess Tournament : CALex is proud to co-sponsor the event organized by the Chinese American Heritage Foundation to distribute moon cakes to senior citizens in Boston Chinatown. ❀Send Moon Cakes to Senior Citizens in Boston Chinatown Parents got together, shared, chatted, and all kinds of questions about the school district and Lexington living were answered. : CALex and LexYouth organized a new school year meetup on Saturday. : CALex members attended the memorial service for Pat Flynn, a longtime Lexington resident and World War II veteran. : CALex, LexYouth, and Foodlink were among the many clubs, organizations, and businesses attending Lexington’s Discovery Day celebration. Team members communicated with members of various organizations in Lexington, and showed the residents various activities organized and participated by CALex. : CALex participated in LexDoingGood, which was hosted by CEL. : At the kind invitation of CALex, the famous soprano singer and vocal music educator Pan Jie held a public lecture on children’s vocal music education. : CALex organized volunteers to help clean up the Lexington Historical Society.
